The purpose of this is to add stability to the board in small and less powerful waves. This increased volume delivers and helps maintain forward momentum and forward trim sensitivity. The essence of the outline is defined by the double wings, which deliver a very purposeful function to this design. The objective of these “flyers” serves to increase the displacement and “trim” area throughout the board. This increase in the board’s displacement increases the volume underfoot while maintaining a refinement in the tail outline. The result is an increased low-speed dynamic. Other interesting features such as the flat deck, deliver a very unique and positive response feel under foot. In addition, the distinctive beveled rail concept not only adds to the retro look but also increases the form and function. This allows for volume throughout the board to be maintained without impacting and bulking up the rail and dulling the boards response and reactivity.
